To encourage students to use their journalistic writing and mobile skills to look at a topical issue which is relevant to Catholic Social Teaching and resonates with Columban mission. The topic is "Migrants are our Neighbours".
Entries may be individual or as a team of up to 3 people.
Entries must be no longer than 3 minutes.
Entries must be in English.
No more than 1 entry per person.
Entries must be original content.
Where facts or figures are quoted, they must be credited to the source.
Submissions received without a completed parent/guardian consent form will not be considered.

Fionnán Sheahan is Editor of the Irish Independent. Prior to his appointment in 2015, he served as group political editor of INM, managing the political coverage of the Irish Independent, Sunday Independent, Herald and Independent.ie. He previously worked as political correspondent with the Irish Examiner.
Patsy McGarry is Religious Affairs correspondent with The Irish Times. He also is the commissioning editor for articles which are published in the paper's Rite and Reason column. He has worked for Independent Newspapers, the Irish Press group, Magill magazine and RTÉ.
Michael Kelly is Editor of the Irish Catholic. He has previously worked for Vatican Radio and continues to contribute to Catholic News Service (CNS), Crux and the Irish Independent.
Bobby Gilmore SSC, writes and campaigns on migrant issues. He was on mission in Jamaica for seven years and has extensive experience of chaplaincy work with migrants in Ireland and Britain.
